A U.S. think tank is urging the European Union to halt its funding to the Palestinian Authority. A report by the Heritage Foundation calls on the Bush administration to press for an independent investigation into whether the E.U. money is being used to fund terrorism. The European Union gave the Palestinian Authority an estimated $3.4 billion between 1994 and 2000, and continues to give the P.A. an average of $10 million a month.
