Adolf Hirsch, 66, died here this week-end after a long illness. Born in Mergentheim, Germany, Mr. Hirsch founded at Buenos Aires in 1933 the Hilfsverein for German Jews to help immigrants to be absorbed into Argentine life. An outstanding businessman and philanthropist, he was at the time of his death honorary president of the Hilfsverein, and was active in the local work of the Joint Distribution Committee.
