An appeal to facilitate middle class immigration to Palestine has been made to Sir John Simpson, here on a British mission to investigate problems of land settlement, immigration and development, by a delegation of the Agudath Israel, Orthodox organization. The delegation consisted of Rabbi Blau and M. Enda.
They pointed out that prior to the War practically no limitations existed against the Agudists. They also deprecated the suspension of the labor schedule. Sir John’s investigation is expected to be finished by the end of July.
Jamal Husseini, secretary of the Arab Executive, who is accompanying Sir John on his tour of the Arab towns and villages, is doing his utmost to prevent the British investigators from meeting the leaders of the Arab opposition which is concentrated in the Northern part of the country.
