Presidential aide Myer Feldman this weekend reported personally to President Kennedy at the White House on his recent visit to Israel and discussions with Israeli leaders.
Mr. Feldman presented the President with a gift of special commemorative coins which Israel’s Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion asked him to bring back for that purpose. Mr. Feldman had attended, on behalf of the President, the commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the death of Dr. Chaim Weizmann, Israel’s first President.
In addition to delivering Mr. Ben-Gurion’s gift, Mr. Feldman reported to Mr. Kennedy on his talks with Mr. Ben-Gurion, Foreign Minister Golda Meir, Defense Minister Shimon Peres, Finance Minister Levi Eshkol, and other leading Israelis.
