All of the 13 Iranian Jews arrested last year and accused of spying for Israel and the United States will be freed soon, according to the sole Jewish representative in the Iranian Parliament. Manouchehr Eliasi told Reuters that Iranian officials “have promised me the case will be resolved in the near future. In 10 to 15 days the result will be know.” A spokesman for the Iranian judiciary, however, denied that there are any plans to free the 13.
