A valuable collection of 4,000 rare volumes has been donated to the Hebrew University Library by Marcus Fechheimer. In 1925 Mr. Fechheimer presented the library with 6,500 volumes.
The present gift includes first editions of the Talmud and Maimonides and a Latin translation of the Mishna.
