American Jewish leaders discussed a range of international issues with senior Bulgarian leaders Monday before continuing to Romania for further talks. A delegation from the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations met with Bulgaria’s president, prime minister, foreign minister and other government officials, as well as the Orthodox Christian patriarch and local Jewish community members.
