Dr. Isaac Maurits Kolthoff, chief of the division of analytical chemistry at the University of Minnesota, has been awarded an honorary doctor’s degree by the University of Gronigen. Prof. Kolthoff, who was born in Holland, was honored on the occasion of the 350th anniversary of the university. The ceremony was attended by Queen Juliana.
