Amnesty Granted to Five Jewish Students in Latvia

Amnesty was granted to five Jewish students held in jail for having defended themselves against the attack of anti-Semitic students in Warklian. On the occasion of the celebration of Latvian independence, 100 prisoners were released, including the five Jewish students.

The Jewish students were arrested a year ago. At that time fourteen were arrested, 9 were acquitted.
