An Al-Qaida attack on Israel is expected, but not imminently, the country’s top counter-terrorism official said. “We have no information, for now, on Al-Qaida operations planned against Israel,” Danny Arditi, director of the Counter-Terrorism Branch in the Prime Minister’s Office, told Army Radio on Sunday. “My assessment is that we are slowly coming into their sights. They are getting closer, but they are not yet close.”
