An Australian Jewish leader says Al-Qaida was behind a plot to target him last year. Rabbi Joseph Gutnick, one of the main funders of Chabad-Lubavitch and right-wing politicians in Israel, told Reuters that Australian police informed him that a militant linked to Osama bin Laden’s terrorist network planned to blow up his house, synagogue or company offices.
