An Egyptian newspaper is publishing a series of articles on Natan Sharansky’s book, “The Case for Democracy.” Al-Ahram described the book by the Israeli minister for Jerusalem and Diaspora affairs as “dangerous” and “full of lies,” according to a statement issued by Sharansky’s ministry. Still, Sharansky said, “I am very happy that Egyptian citizens will become familiar with the main thesis of the book, which is that freedom and democracy are for all people and that all nations deserve them.”
