An electronic publication is being launched next month for U.S. Jewish college students. The Jewish Student Weekly is a project of the American Union of Jewish Students, a new organization. The project is being funded by the Grinspoon Quick Turn Around Grant through Hillel.
The government of Croatia and the city of Zagreb pledged to finance a new synagogue. The synagogue will be built in downtown Zagreb, at the site of a synagogue blown up by the Nazi puppet regime that ran Croatia during World War II.
