An interdenominational group of New York-area rabbis will hold a large prayer vigil in Manhattan on Nov. 11 “for America, against terrorism” to drive home the point that “America and Israel face a common enemy,” said an organizer, Rabbi Avi Weiss. Weiss led a similar group of rabbis, spanning the religious and political spectrum, in a June 3 pro-Israel solidarity rally that drew thousands onto the streets of New York.
