An Irish protester who interrupted British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s news conference in Beirut on Monday with a call to boycott Israel is an anti-Israel activist. Caoimhe Butterly has participated in several high-profile actions in the West Bank, most notably in 2002 when she gained entry to Yasser Arafat’s besieged compound in Ramallah.
