An Israeli committee recommended setting up a special authority for dealing with the country’s Arab citizens. According to the plan reported by Ma’ariv on Thursday, the National Authority for Arab Affairs would work toward coexistence through initiatives such as encouraging members of Israel’s largest minority to volunteer for national service.
