An Israeli government minister called for the Gaza Strip withdrawal to take just a few days. Matan Vilnai, a former deputy chief of the military staff, told Cabinet colleagues Sunday that stretching out the summer evacuations from Gaza and the northern West Bank any further would put a major burden on Israel’s security services.
