An Israeli historian is lobbying for Tel Aviv to mark its 100th birthday this year. Professor Yossi Katz of Bar-Ilan University published a study this week arguing that Tel Aviv’s centennial should fall this year, since the city’s foundations were laid in 1906.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
