An Israeli rescue and recovery society claimed a new member — Germany’s president. Horst Koehler signed up with Zaka, which has received accolades for cleaning up the sites of terrorist attacks and traffic accidents in Israel in accordance with Jewish law, during his visit to Jerusalem in February, Yediot Achronot said Sunday.
