An Israeli soldier and two senior members of Hamas were killed in separate clashes in the West Bank on Tuesday. Near Bethlehem, a group of reservists was conducting a house search when a Hamas gunman opened fire, killing Sgt. Maj. Ami Cohen, 27, of Netanya, and wounding another soldier. In the return fire, the Hamas gunman was killed.
