An Italian politician released a video praising a Nazi-era criminal. Antonio Serena, a member of the National Alliance Party of Italy’s deputy prime minister, Gianfranco Fini, released the video this week. The video praises Erich Priebke, a former SS captain serving a life sentence for his role in the murder of 335 people, including 75 Jews, in Italy’s worst World War II massacre.
