An Orthodox group praised the U.S. Supreme Court decision to hear a case reviewing an Oregon law permitting assisted suicide. The high court announced Tuesday it would review a ruling by former Attorney General John Ashcroft that medication could not be used for assisted suicide, which challenged Oregon’s “Death with Dignity” law.
