An Oxford University professor who barred an Israeli doctoral candidate because he is anti-Israel said his views are not university policy. Pathology professor Andrew Wilkie, who rejected an Israeli applicant to a post-graduate course because of Wilkie’s opposition to Israeli government policies, called his actions “wholly inappropriate,” BBC News reported.
