Organizers of an anti-Hitler demonstration were informed today by Dr. Hewlett Johnson, Dean of Canterbury, of his hearty sympathy. “The outrages and attacks on Jews are only a preliminary to an attack on Christian civilization,” he said. “It behooves all loving true religion, objective righteousness, free institutions and peace to oppose every incipient step in this direction.”
