Amendments to the British-Transjordania treaty, which were ratified in Jerusalem on June 2, have been made public by the British Colonial Office.
By the terms of the amendments a British resident will be appointed for Transjordania through whom and through the High Commissioner in Palestine the Transjordan government will communicate all powers. It is also provided that Transjordania may have its consuls in neighboring Arab states where it is found necessary to do so.
Emir Abdullah, ruler of Transjordania, undertakes from now on to bear the ordinary expenses of civil government and administration in Transjordania.
