The application to Palestine of the Anglo-French Agreement respecting legal proceedings in civil and commercial matters was secured as a result of an exchange of notes between Great Britain and France.
By this Agreement communications from French Courts will be accompanied by translations in English, except when they issue from a court in a French Colony where the court employs Arabic, in which case they will be transmitted in that language.
The Agreement went into effect on March 22, 1923, but until further notice will not affect the existing arrangement between Palestine and Syria regarding the same matters.
