Anthony Gustav de Rothschild, prominent Jewish banker and philanthropist, died here yesterday at the age of 73. He was honorary president of the Central British Fund for Jewish Relief and Rehabilitation and a past vice-president of the Anglo-Jewish Association. He was also president of the Jewish Orphanage and of the Jews Free School.
Mr. de Rothschild was senior partner in the London merchant banking firm of N. M. Roths child and Sons, Ltd.
