An anti-Fascist Congress attended by delegates of 34 Syrian and Lebanon organizations took place here today. About a dozen deputies and ex-deputies attended, including ex-Premiers Djemil Mardam and Lufti Hafar. Other deputies wired solidarity greetings from Damascus.
A wire was sent to Paris to assure the forthcoming international congress there of what was stated to be the complete community of the Arab countries, “conscious of the totalitarian peril that threatens them.”
