Anti-Israel terrorist groups are a “formidable threat” to U.S. interests, the CIA and FBI chiefs said. In Senate testimony on the terrorist threat this week, CIA Director George Tenet said Al-Qaida remained the principal threat, “but other terrorist organizations also threaten U.S. interests.” FBI Director Robert Mueller said the threat could reach U.S. soil.
