The cowardice of the anti-Semitic students who were caper to perpetrate mass riots against their Jewish fellow-students but most reluctant to meet the Jewish students on “the field of honor” following the first two duels which the Jewish students fought successfully, was demonstrated by the arguments put forward by the anti-Semitic students in evading the challenges.

It was learned today that some of the anti-Semitic students declined to accept the challenges on the pretense that the challengers were Jews for Jews in their opinion are not “satisfactions having.” while others declined the challenges until the challengers would prove beyond doubt that they are really Jews and had cause to take offense.
