Anti-Semitism is “infecting” the nation’s politics, according to British lawmakers. Speaking Tuesday at a debate on anti-Semitism in the House of Commons, Stephen Byers, chair of the parliamentary committee on anti-Semitism, said, “The line is now being crossed from legitimate criticism” of Israeli policy to the “demonization, dehumanization of Jews and the application of double standards.”
