Argentine Synagogues Form Supreme Council; Will Strengthen Religious Traditions

The formation of a Supreme Council of Synagogue in Argentina ##resigned to “strengthen Jewish religious traditions, stimulate religious education and unify negotiations of a religious character before the authorities,” was announced here today.The leading Orthodox and Conservative houses of worship, including those of the Sephardic and German-speaking communities, have become affiliated with the Council. Moises Kaplan, a Mizrachi leader, was named president.
