Ariel Sharon berated Italy’s foreign minister for his country’s ties with Hezbollah. “You meet with representatives of Hezbollah and give this organization legitimacy even before it gives up its weapons and stops acts of terror against Israel,” the Israeli prime minister told Gianfranco Fini in a meeting Tuesday, Agence France-Presse reported. Italy’s ambassador to Lebanon recently met with Lebanon’s water minister, Hezbollah’s representative in the Lebanese Cabinet.
