Ariel Sharon was quoted as saying that Likud members who oppose his disengagement plan don’t support him as Israeli prime minister. “A vote against the disengagement plan is a vote against the Likud leadership, against me, with everything that implies,” Israel’s daily Ma’ariv quoted Sharon telling supporters Wednesday in reference to a May 2 Likud referendum.
