The military authorities warned today that the Arab port of Jaffa would be closed indefinitely unless all rebel interference with traffic was discontinued. The warning was served by Brigadier-General Harry D. Wetherall, who announced that the Government intended to widen application of the punitive principle in dealing with Arab terrorism, as laid down in a statement Nov. 23.
