Seven Jewish prisoners have been released from the Latrun jail, where they were being held as terrorist suspects, as the result of intervention by Richard Crossman, one of the British members of the Anglo-American inquiry committee, the newspaper Hamashkiff said today. It added that fourteen deportees will be returned from Asmara, Eritrea, next week.

Crossman, and several other members of the committee, visited the Latrun detention center, and spoke with the Jewish political prisoners during their stay here.
