Asch’s “god of Vengeance” to Be Made into “talkie”

A talking film version of “God of Vengeance,” the famous play of Sholom Asch, noted Yiddish playwright, in simultaneous Yiddish, German, English and French productions, is being prepared here by A. Granowsky, former director of the Yiddish Art Theatre in Moscow. “God of Vengence” is Asch’s best known work and has been translated into many languages.
