The ashes of Egon Ervin Kisch, noted Jewish writer who died here March 31, will be placed in a position of honor in the Prague crematorium, it was learned here today.
The decision to honor Kisch, who was elected honorary chairman of the Council of Jewish Communities a few days before his death, was taken by the Central National Committee of the Capital. It is expected that one of the streets of the city will be renamed in Kisch’s honor in the near future.
