Apostal Papazoglou, principal assailant of Isaac Eliaou, son of the president of the Jewish community of Castoria, in outrages against the Jews about a week ago, is under arrest, it was learned today.
The police prefect of Florina, in a telephone conversation with Iliades, secretary of the Governor of Macedonia, declared that measures have been taken for maintaining order, and that a careful inquiry is under way.
He expressed the view that the Jews exaggerated the importance of the incidents.
