A spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior, eager to disassociate this country from any possible responsibility for Adolf Eichmann, said yesterday that while Eichmann’s father had become a naturalized citizen, that act did not confer Austrian citizenship on Adolf Eichmann. The latter was too old at the time his father was naturalized to be covered by the father’s citizenship papers, the spokesman said.
