Austrian authorities are requesting that a museum give up a painting believed to have been stolen from its Jewish owner on the eve of World War II. The painting, “Wayward Shrine, Houses and Trees” by Egon Schiele, was taken from Henirich Riger, a Viennese man who died at Thereseinstadt in 1942.
