Austrian Jews filed symbolic restitution claims aimed at pressuring the government to help the community with its financial problems. Austrian Jewish leader Ariel Muzicant filed 777 claims on Wednesday, the deadline for filing claims for money from a 2001 fund established to compensate people for property looted by the Nazis.
