Belarus is expected to release a silver coin commemorating the bicentennial of a renowned yeshiva. The coin honoring the Volozhin Yeshiva will draw attention to Jewish heritage in Belarus and could boost Jewish tourism there, according to Yuri Dorn, the leader of the Jewish Religious Union, which came up with the idea for the coin.
