Ben Gurion Confers with Colonial Secretary; Attempts to Avert Martial Law

David Ben Gurion, chairman of the world Zionist executive, made an eleventh hour plea to avert martial law in Palestine in a 45-minute talk today with Colonial Secretary Arthur Creach Jones, Jewish circles here stated tonight. He will fly to Palestine tomorrow.
