Just prior to the opening of the Navy-Michigan football game at the Baltimore Stadium Saturday, Benny Friedman, captain and quarterback of the University of Michigan team, was presented with a bas-relief trophy in which he is outlined dashing down the field in one of his sensational runs. Mayor Howard W. Jackson made the presentation speech.

The presentation trophy was sponsored by “The Jewish Times” of Baltimore.
