Bergson Refused Conversion, Catholic Scholar Reveals

Father Sertillanges, noted Catholic philosopher and member of the French Institute, has published a new book in Paris, entitled “With Henri Bergson,” in which he reveals that he tried to convert the late philosopher to Christianity and got him to admit that Jesus Christ was superhuman, but conversion was not obtained. He adds that towards the end of his life Prof. Bergson wished baptism.
