Bill Banning Bias in Public Employment Defeated in New Hampshire

A bill designed to ban discrimination because of race, color or creed in public employment, public accommodations and state service was killed in the state House of Representatives. The vote was 210 to 93. The bill had been sponsored by the New Hampshire Equal Rights Committee.
