Dr. Ewald Bucher, the West German Justice Minister, clarified today his stand on extension of the West German statute of limitations on prosecution of Nazi war criminals, by explaining that he would accept a Parliamentary extension but not one by the West German Cabinet. He had declared Monday night on a television broadcast that he would resign if the statute was extended beyond the presently effective date of May 8. Parliament is to debate the issue March 10.
