On the eve of the municipal elections in Kishinev, a precarious situation has been created for the Jewish population there. While the government party desires a coalition with the Jewish voters, the Liberals now also desire the Jewish vote.

At a general meeting of the Jewish Kehillah in Kishinev yesterday, the Liberal ex-Minister Inculetz, spoke and exhorted the Jews to either have their candidates for the municipal council appear on the Liberal ticket, or else put up a separate Jewish ticket.
