Police have raided Fascist headquarters in half a dozen English cities and arrested more than 50 persons in a continued drive against fifth column elements. The latest raids followed arrest of more than 20 suspects, most of them members of Sir Oswald Mosley’s British Union, over the weekend.

The periodical Spectator expresses approval of the arrest of Mosley and other fifth column suspects, declaring that “with the record before us of the appalling mislet potentially dangerous people be at large.”
